How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets may be purchased with service fees by logging online at TicketWeb.com, or by calling TicketWeb at 866–777-8932 (for Canadian orders please call 888–222-6608).
Tickets may also be purchased in person at the following locations:
- Morris Inc. Main Office Building on the west side of the Missouri Bridge, 301 W. Highways 14 & 34, Fort Pierre, SD 57532. Open daily from 9am to 5pm.
- Prairies Pages Bookseller located at 321 S. Pierre Street, Pierre, SD 57501
How much is the service fee?
TicketWeb service fees vary depending on the type of purchase you choose — online, phone, mail orders, etc. The service fee at Morris Inc. and Prairies Pages Bookseller is $1.00 per ticket.
May I bring children?
Yes, however, due to artist contracts a ticket is required for children three years of age and older attending a performance. No exceptions. Children under the age of 3 are free with a ticketed adult in the general admission area.
What if I need a refund or lost my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a cancellation, and then tickets are refundable at the original point of purchase only. Lost tickets purchased at Morris, Inc. or any other in-person ticket location cannot be replaced: please handle them as you would cash. Please contact TicketWeb directly for any lost tickets purchased at TicketWeb online or over the phone.
Where is Will Call?
Will Call is located at the booth at the East Gate entrance to the Oahe Speedway. Will Call will open at the time the gates to the Meadow open, day-of-show only.
May I buy tickets the day of the show?
If available, day of show tickets may be purchased at the Oahe Speedway box office at the East Gate entrance. Day of show tickets may cost more than tickets purchased prior to the event date.
Where do I find concert updates?
Scheduled performances could sell out at anytime, or a supporting act may change. To check on the most current ticket availability or changes to the line-up, please search for tickets online at TicketWeb or call 866–777-8932.
What if it rains? May I bring an umbrella?
All concerts are performed outside and held RAIN or SHINE. Please dress for the weather. There is no covered seating. General admission seating is on the lawn. Shade umbrellas are permitted only prior to the performance(s) and during intermission. Normal rain umbrellas will be permitted during inclement weather only and will be asked to be put down during weather breaks.
Will I be able to stand and dance during the performance?
We ask that you be courteous to those around you and respectful of the artist’s performance.
May I bring a chair?
General admission seating is festival-style on the Meadow lawn. Ticket holders enter the field on a “first come, first served” basis. Blankets and/or low beach chairs are permitted anywhere in GA Seating. High back chairs (seat higher than 12″ from the ground and/or back is taller than 28″) will be required to move to the designated “High Back Chair” areas.
Are there chairs for reserved seating?
Currently there is no reserved seating for events at the Meadow.
Is the concert series accessible to people with disabilities?
Disabled Reserve tickets are available to purchase for guests with a State Disabled Permit — proof is required. For General Admission ticket holders, one attendant with the challenged guest is permitted to enter the Meadow approximately 15 minutes prior to the General Public. Any additional members of a party will enter with the general public. Please note additional space cannot be held in the General Admission section for more than the Disabled guest and attendant. Guests are encouraged to call 605–223-9885, in advance, with disabled seating questions and parking details. Disabled General Admission tickets allow guests to sit on blankets and/or low chairs anywhere in the Meadow. High back chairs (seats higher than 12″ from the ground and/or back is taller than 28″) will be required to move to a designated area for wheelchairs or anywhere in the “High Back Chair” area at the back and perimeter of the Meadow.
May I bring a camera?
Most artists’ contracts prohibit the use of flash cameras, professional cameras, digital cameras and tape recording or video recording devices and therefore they are not permitted in the Meadow. Digital photography is not permitted. Cameras, film, tape and discs will be confiscated and may become the property of the artist. Cell phones are permitted, unless the artist contract states otherwise. Should they become an obstruction cell phones will be asked to be put away.
What is the process for parking?
Gates to the Meadow typically open three hours prior to the show start time. Carpooling is encouraged. Parking attendants will direct cars to parking areas. Disabled parking on-site is available with a Disabled Permit only. If all Disabled spots have been taken, disabled guests may be dropped off in front of the venue and parking will be offered in another location. Please call 605–223-9885 in advance for disabled parking details. RV or camper parking available at Oahe Speedway is for vehicles preregistered thru the venue; no additional RV or camper parking will be offered. How do I get to the Meadow?
The Meadow at Oahe Speedway is located fourteen (14) miles north of Pierre, South Dakota. Map & Driving Directions.
Are taxis available?
We encourage all attendees to plan ahead and designate a driver so everyone gets home safely.
May I bring alcoholic beverages?
The South Dakota Liquor Control Board requires that any alcoholic beverage consumed on the Meadow grounds be purchased at the Speedway. Our concession stands will be open until approximately intermission during performances. No other beer, spirits or wine are permitted anywhere on the grounds and will be confiscated. For your safety and the safety of others, a security check will be done at the entry to the Meadow. All coolers and bags will be checked. Please do not bring any alcoholic beverages with you. NO GLASS BOTTLES WILL BE ALLOWED ON OAHE SPEEDWAY PREMISES AT ANY TIME.
May I bring my own picnic items?
A variety of fresh food items are available for purchase at the Oahe Speedway concession stands. Please feel free to bring your own picnic and non-alcoholic beverages.
May I bring a barbecue? What about candles?
Please, no barbecues, candles, etc. No open flames are permitted anywhere in the Meadow or Speedway venue.
May I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted on the grounds during concerts. For the comfort and safety of all, please leave your pets at home.
Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is permitted in the “Designated Smoking Areas” only.
Will CDs and other artist merchandise be available?
Artist merchandise is provided by the tour, some artists do not carry merchandise with them.
Where is Lost & Found located?
All lost and found items are kept in a secure location. During a concert, please contact any of our security personnel to inquire about your item. Anytime following a show, please contact us at 605–223-9885.
Is there safety and first aid service?
EMT’s are available to assist with any medical emergency. Remember to wear shoes at all times for your safety.
